Bazooka: Movie Overview
Bazooka is an upcoming Indian Malayalam-language action thriller film written and directed by Deeno Dennis in his directorial debut. The film is produced by Dolwin Kuriakose, Jinu V. Abraham, Vikram Mehra and Sidharth Anand Kumar under the banners of Yoodlee Films and Theatre of Dreams. The film stars Mammootty.
The official title was announced in April 2023. Principal photography began in May 2023 in Kochi. The entire filming was wrapped up in October 2024. The music was composed by Midhun Mukundan, while the cinematography and editing were handled by Nimish Ravi and Nishadh Yusuf respectively.
Bazooka is scheduled to be released in December, 2024.
The post-production works started in July 2024. The patch work shoot were conducted in Kochi in September 2024.
The music was composed by Midhun Mukundan in his second collaboration with Mammootty, after Rorschach.
Earlier reports indicated that Bazooka will be released along with Mohanlal’s directorial debut Barroz in December 2023 on the occasion of Christmas, but it was delayed. It was then scheduled for a theatrical release in 2024. It was once again reported to be released with Barroz on the same day on September 12, 2024 during the Onam season. The film was unable to release as planned earlier and was later postponed. According to reports, Bazooka will premiere on big screen in either December 2024 or January 2025.
