Siamese Cat

In Siam, or Thailand, where it comes, from, the Siamese was a temple guardian. People believed that when they died, the souls of Royal persons passed into cats’ bodies and lived there.

Legend has it that Siamese cat once fought off the barbarians in protecting a sacred alter. As a reward Heaven granted the cats their wonderful blue eyes.

Siamese cats love companionship and fret if left alone. They are happiest if brought up with another of their own kind. Many Siamese kittens cannot drink fresh cow’s milk, but will take sweetened tinned milk.

They need clean water every day and plenty of toys to play with to keep them happy.
