Largest peanut butter cup

Levack, Ontario, Canada – July 5, 2016 – Chantelle Gorham from the Northwest Fudge Factory in Levack, Ont., created a giant peanut butter cup in an afternoon; it’s almost 80 inches in diameter and it’s a blend of half chocolate and half peanut butter filling; the 600 pound treat is 17,768 times bigger than a normal peanut butter cup, thus setting the new world record for the Largest peanut butter cup.

The Guinness World Records world record for the largest plastic cup pyramid consists of 42,925 plastic cups and was created by Ping Solutions and Cinépolis (both Mexico) at Paseo Acoxpa, Mexico City, Mexico, on 5 December 2015.

Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the largest cup of tea; it is 4000 litres (7039.01 pt) in volume and was produced by GlaxoSmithKline Beecham (Private) Ltd (Sri Lanka) for Viva, at Burgher Recreation Club grounds in Colombo, Sri Lanka, on 9 October 2010.

The 600 pound treat was cut up and sold at Canada Day celebrations.

The dessert, which was bigger than a kiddie pool, was created by Chantelle Gorham from the Northwest Fudge Factory in Levack, Ontario.

The finished creation is 17,768 times bigger than a normal peanut butter cup.

Gorham was trying to break a Guinness World Record, which currently sits at a modest 440 pounds.

“It’s almost 80 inches in diameter. It’s a blend of half chocolate and half peanut butter filling,” she said.
