Abdul Ghaffār Khān, nicknamed Fakhr-e-Afghan, lit. “pride of Pashtuns”, Bādshāh Khān, or Bāchā Khān, “king of chiefs”, was a Pashtun independence activist who worked to end the rule of the British Raj in India.
