Dealing with Karma — Pitra Dosh is not the curse of ancestors, as explained by some astrologers. It appears in the horoscope of a person due to the bad karmas of his forefathers. In simple terms, he has to pay for those actions by going through the suffering that has been decided for those karmic deeds (debts). This will continue until the debt is cleared either by punishment or by the good deeds that have been done by the person who has the Pitra Dosh. In other words, just like a child inherits the assets and liabilities of his forefathers, the results of past karmas are also passed onto the descendants. To relieve yourself of Pitra Dosh, we identify the planets causing it and suggest specific remedies to placate them. Remedies range from wearing gemstones, making donations, performing yagya and chanting mantras, so that the quantum of punishment or debt is reduced.
