He serves as the Chairman of Piramal Diagnostic Services Pvt. Ltd. He served as the Chairman of Morarjee Textiles Limited (formerly, Morarjee Brembana Ltd) until June 8, 2006. He served as the Chairman of Peninsula Land Limited until May 5, 2006. He serves as an Executive Director of Piramal Healthcare Ltd. He serves as a Director of NPIL Fininvest Pvt. Ltd., and Allergan India Limited. He has been Director of Gujarat Glass Pvt. Ltd since February 6, 1998. He has been an Independent Director of D B Corp. Limited since November 28, 2007.
He served as a Director of State Bank of India from September 1, 2001 to September 1, 2007. He was a Member of the various forums such as the Prime Mainister’s Task Force on Pharmaceuticals and Knowledge based Industries. He is a reputed Industrialist. Mr. Piramal holds B.Sc.
