Bihu Festival Song [II]:

Last year’s monsoon, our cattle’s died
But there was no sign of you…
This year Bihu… if you don’t reciprocate my love…
There will be no sight of me forever…
If God accepts bribe…
I would have requested, would have requested
Him to write your name in my destiny… (Repeat)
Would have gone to Himalayas for meditation
But I wonder if you shall wait for me so long years till my return (Repeat)
My sweet darling, my sweet gold.
Think once from where you will get gold to bribe the all mighty (Repeat)
Ok… You will meditate in Himalayas for me…
But I wonder by the time you return
I will become old …and will find me walk with a walking stick
If I could have talked to lord Krishna
I would have requested him me to teach me
How to play the flute… (Repeat)
Sitting on the branch of Kadam tree (comparing to Shri Krishna & Radha)
I would have composed some lovely tunes…
Captivating you…
And you would have been mine forever…
Hey..No…this is not Brindaban
That you will win minds / souls by playing flute… (repeat)
Bisa bule dekhile misa (Assamese saying meaning “It’s a Lie”.)
Women are incomplete without man.
Hey… don’t threaten us thinking we are girls
Girls are never less then boys… (repeat)
Watermelons always grow under the leaves….
Women are always below the men…. (repeat)
Birds look good while they are in the branch…
Men look good along with the women…
Hey… girls are like fish baits…
Boys will jump at the sight of them…
