How To Make Peanut Butter Cupcakes
Recipe 1
Ingredients
- 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
- ¾ cup Milk
- ½ cup Peanut Butter
- 1/3 cup Shortening
- 1½ cups Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 2 tsp Baking Powder
- 1 tsp Vanilla Essence
- ½ tsp Salt
Method
- Take a medium bowl and combine together peanut butter, shortening and vanilla essence. Beat well to cream the ingredients.
- Add sugar and beat till the mixture gets light and fluffy.
- Add eggs, one at a time. Beat well after each addition.
- Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
- Add the flour mixture to the egg mixture alternating with milk.
- Pour the batter in paper bake cups filling only till half.
- Bake the cup cakes at 350 degrees F for 20 minutes.
- Remove and frost the cupcakes with peanut butter.

Ingredients
- 1/3 cup Shortening
- 1/3 cup Peanut Butter
- 1¼ cups packed Brown Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1¾ cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1¾ tsp Baking Powder
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 cup Milk
- 16 miniature Peanut Butter Cups
Method
- Mix shortening, peanut butter and brown sugar in a large mixing bowl. Beat well till the mixture turns light and fluffy.
- Add eggs, one at a time. Beat the mixture after each egg addition.
- Add vanilla extract and stir well.
- Sieve flour, baking powder and salt together in a separate bowl.
- Add the flour mixture to the creamed mixture alternating with milk.
- Take paper-lined muffin cups and pour the batter to fill up to ¼.
- Carefully press a peanut butter cup in the center of the batter till the top edge gets even with the batter.
- Bake the cup cakes at 350 degrees F for about 22 to 24 minutes till a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Cool the cupcakes in the pan for 10 minutes.
- Remove from the pans and cool on wire racks completely.
