Hola Mohalla Images:Hola Mohalla is celebrated by Sikh community, a day after Holi, generally in the month of March. This festival was pioneered by the tenth Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh Ji in Anandpur Sahib to strengthen the Sikh community by training them in the art of warfare. So on this occasion thousands of people flock to Anandpur Sahib, Punjab in India to celebrate this festival. The three day events include spectacular horse riding, daring sword fighting, mock battles or Gatka and archery by the Nihang Sikhs who are considered as the beloved army of Guru Ji. In spite of that, there are community meals or langars, processions and hymns in praise of God. People visit Gurdwara on this day.
