Happy Dolphin

Happy Dolphin

I wouldn’t change places with anyone-
It’s a Dolphin’s life for me!
I roll in the waves when the tide runs high,
And leap in a foaming sea.

We travel together, my friends and I,
In a pack called a Dolphin “school” –
But we don’t learn lessons or wait for bells,
And we haven’t a single rule!

We follow a ship in a graceful line,
Catching pilchards when we may.
Oh, who wouldn’t choose a Dolphin’s life,
And live in the sea all day!
