Seashore Antics

Crab OctopusA crab was walking sideways,
An octopus said, “Why,
That crab is walking sideways,
I think I’ll have a try.”

An eel was wriggling forwards,
A mussel wondered why
That eel was wriggling forwards-
He thought he would have a try.

A flying fish was flying,
A porpoise said, “Oh, my,
That flying fish is flying,
I think I’d like to try.”

The octopus walked sideways,
And fell upon the sand;
The mussel wriggled forwards,
And ploughed up half the land;
The porpoise started flying,
And fell into the sea,
But everyone was happy,
Because they’d tried, you sea!
