जागो जागो शंकरा: महाशिवरात्रि भजन – This bhajan ‘Jago Jago Jago Shankara’ urges us to awaken ourselves to the reality that we are indeed nothing but Divine consciousness, reservoirs of auspiciousness, and eternal springs of goodness.

Awake us to the inner reality, O bestower of auspiciousness, the supreme Lord who has held the vicious poison in His throat. Lord Shankara (Shiva), the one who holds the sacred Ganges in His matted locks, the consort of Mother Gowri, is the same as Lord Sai who dwells in Parthi.
