The list of records includes the Greatest height from which a basketball is shot and now stands at 533ft (162.45m). The shot was performed from Cotter Ranch Tower in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and bettered the previous record – Australian Brett Standord’s 415ft (126.5m) – by a remarkable 118ft (35.95m).
The Guinness World Records world record for the largest game of basketball knockout consists of 701 participants and was achieved by the Dallas Mavericks (USA) in Dallas, Texas, USA, on 4 October 2015.
Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the largest crowd for a basketball game; it is 108,713 for the NBA All-Star Game played at Cowboys Stadium in Dallas, Texas, USA on 14 February 2010.
Dude Perfect, a sports entertainment group, broke 10 basketball-related Guinness World Records and tied the Harlem Globetrotters for another.
