Most kettlebell prone swings: Vyacheslav Khoroneko breaks Guinness World Records record

Minsk, Belarus – January 19, 2016 – Many-time world kettlebell lifting champion and Guinness World Records record holder Vyacheslav Khoroneko set up a new world record in Minsk; within an hour, Vyacheslav Khoroneko made 1,410 kettlebell prone swings with a 24kg kettlebell, thus setting the new world record for the Most kettlebell prone swings.

The Guinness World Records world record for the heaviest weight lifted in one hour by kettlebell swing is 12,400 kg (27,300 lb 5.13 oz) and was achieved by James Saward-Anderson (UK) in London, UK, on 03 September 2014.

Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the most weight lifted in one hour – kettlebell long cycle; it is 33,184 kg (73,158 lb 3.15 oz) and was achieved by Anatoly Ezhov (Belarus) in Zagreb, Croatia, on 21 September 2014.

The Belarusian strongman made it happen at the Command and Engineering Institute of the Emergencies Ministry.

Within an hour, Vyacheslav Khoroneko made 1,410 kettlebell prone swings with a 24kg kettlebell. The previous record was 1,200 swings.

This is the 147th record of the Belarusian strongman. According to Vyacheslav Khoroneko, his performance was dedicated to Rescuer’s Day which is celebrated in Belarus on 19 January.
