Largest Gathering Of People Dressed as Princesses: Southampton breaks Guinness World Records record

London, United Kingdom: More than 500 princesses packed a Southampton theatre in a bid to break a Guinness World Records world record; a total of 537 people came dressed as traditional princesses wearing long, flowing gowns, setting the new world record for the Largest gathering of people dressed as princesses, according to the World Record Academy.

The Guinness World Records world record for the largest gathering of people dressed as princesses was 351 and was achieved by Festival Leisure Park, Empire Cinemas and Disney and was organised by Key Lime PR & Marketing (All UK) in Festival Leisure Park (UK) on Saturday 17 May 2014.

Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the largest gathering of people dressed as Spider-Man; it involved 438 participants, achieved by Charterhouse (Australia), in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, on 28 July 2015.

Men, woman and children were invited to the Mayflower Theatre in the hope of beating the previous Guinness World Records world record of 351 held by the Festival Leisure Park in Essex.

A total of 537 people came dressed as traditional princesses wearing long, flowing gowns.

During the event entertainment was provided Mayflower Theatre’s Musical Youth Theatre, just one of the community education projects provided by Mayflower Engage.

Tickets for the event were £5 per person and all money raised will be split between Mayflower Engage and the Countess Mountbatten Hospice Charity.
