Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the largest seafood ceviche; it weighed 9,954 kg (21,945 lbs) and was organized by Aquamar International, in San Francisco de Campeche, Campeche, Mexico, on 4 September 2010.

This is the second time the city of Batroun breaks a world record.
In 2012, Batroun made the largest cup of lemonade, which was beaten out by Calypso Lemonades in Las Vegas, Nevada in 2015.
