The Guinness World Records world record for the largest cinnamon roll is 276 kg (609 lb) and was achieved by Second Floor Bakery (USA) in Holland, Michigan, USA on 4 May 2013. The completed roll measured 1.83 m (6 ft) in diameter and 17.8 cm (7 in) tall.
Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the longest spring roll; it measured 500 m (1,640 ft 5 in) and was made in an event organised by APOT.Asia (Australia), in Da Nang, Vietnam, on 5 June 2014.
The bread was baked at the Culinary Institute of Canada by Chef Ross Munro and crew. A team of 60 fishermen and their wives paraded the roll from the Culinary Institute of Canada to the Charlottetown Event Grounds escorted by city police.
It was made with 120 lbs of PEI lobster meat, 30 lbs of dough, 30 lbs celery, 15 lbs red pepper, lbs of onions and 5 gallons of mayonnaise.
Festival goers had the opportunity to stuff the lobster roll and enjoy a sample of the roll.
Food Network Canada’a Chef Lynn Crawford measured the roll with the live audience in the Festival tent during the PEI International Shellfish Festival.
